The Wyoming Legislature in 2007 modified the sex offender statutes such that the Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) is required to post all registered sex offenders on an internet site accessible to the citizens of Wyoming or elsewhere. The amended requirements improve tracking of convicted sex offenders, by providing information helpful in making appropriate decisions concerning their family and children's safety.

The act begins in pertinent part (W.S. 7-19-302):

  • Name, including any aliases ever used;
